Introducing Julianne and Toddle On

A new resource for families in local villages!

Julianne’s passion for working with children inspired her to create Toddle On after realising there are limited options for families in the area to attend classes with their babies and toddlers.

Drawing on her experiences as a Mammy and a primary teacher, she established Toddle On to provide a space for families in rural areas. Toddle On provides a wide range of classes and activities for families to enjoy and build friendships while having one-on-one time with your little ones. Classes will take place every week to engage your child in their learning while also having the chance to get out of the house and meet with other parents. Have biscuit, a cuppa and a chat at the end of each class.

Join us for a fun and educational experience for you and your little ones at Castlebridge Hall on Tuesdays, , Clonard Community Centre Thursdays and The Waterfront Leisure Centre in Enniscorthy on Fridays.

Join our Toddle On community today for a fun and educational experience!

Inspiration

Julianne’s love for working with children began at a young age when her family fostered babies, which inspired her to become a teacher. After completing primary teacher training, she taught for several years before becoming a Mammy. She took a break from teaching to focus on raising her children and attended weekly classes, where she built friendships and loved the quality time she had with her kids watching them grow and learn through play. During covid she was opened up to the world of learning though play and created fun and educational activities for her children at home.

Inspiring Quotes

"You can learn more about a child in one hour of play than you can in one year of conversation."

Plato

"Children learn through doing – play is how they explore their world, learn how to assess risk, try things out and get to know themselves."

"Play is our brain's favourite way of learning."

Diane Ackerman
