Introducing Julianne and Toddle On

Just two doors down from Lidl at Whitemill North in Wexford Town, Toddle On was created out of a love for working with children and a passion for supporting families.

I’m Julianne, a Mammy and a primary teacher; I know first-hand how important it is to have spaces where little ones can learn, play, and grow while parents connect and recharge. After a year of travelling around Wexford running classes, I’m delighted to now have a permanent home where families can come together.

At Toddle On, you’ll find weekly classes designed to spark your child’s curiosity, encourage learning through play, and give you quality one-on-one time with your little one. After class, stay for a cuppa, a biscuit, and a chat because making connections with other parents is just as important.

I’ve also created a relaxed play space where your child can explore freely, and for families who need something a little quieter, a dedicated sensory room. As a parent of a child with ADHD, I understand how overwhelming some environments can be, so this calm space is here to support children who benefit from fewer sensory distractions.

Toddle On is more than just classes, it’s a community. Come join us for fun, friendship, and memorable learning experiences with your little ones.

Inspiration

My love for working with children began at a young age when my family fostered babies, which inspired me to become a teacher. I moved to Scotland to complete primary teacher training and ended up living there for 15 years! I taught for several years before becoming a Mammy. I took a break from teaching to focus on raising my children and attended weekly classes, where I built friendships and loved the quality time I had with my kids watching them grow and learn through play. During covid I was opened up to the world of learning though play and created fun and educational activities for my children at home.

Inspiring Quotes

"You can learn more about a child in one hour of play than you can in one year of conversation."

Plato

"Children learn through doing – play is how they explore their world, learn how to assess risk, try things out and get to know themselves."

"Play is our brain's favourite way of learning."

Diane Ackerman
